Space Flight is no stranger to large audiences. Case in example..Just Recent feat of Musk!
With a stunning traffic of 2.3 million live views on YouTube (making it the second biggest live stream event in YouTube’s history.)...SpaceX successfully launched its Falcon 9 Heavy rocket 🚀 which is their first ever collaboration with NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
My Marketing mind wondered....
Why not have Advertisements on these rockets ?
Due to NASA's restricted policy, it being a Govt agency, forbids advertising/endorsement deals but now that they have teamed up with SpaceX viz Private company,
Advertisers must consider such an Opportunity!
This will attract so many funds for their next mission. Via Paid sponsorship!
Think about it- Big companies like Amazon, Apple, Coca Cola, Disney, Pizzahut, Alibaba, Netflix...the list is endless.
For example they could....
- Have shots of M&M
- Amazon standing true to few of their tag lines like “Work Hard. Have Fun. Make History.”, "amazon .com and you are done" or Amazon’s logo with an arrow starting from A and pointing to Z- meaning all the categories available here.
- Nike sponsored air lite space shoe
- Using Apple's Mac book 'Air', etc
- Project their logo on moon via high power lasers
- Take a shot via GoPro 📹
The List is endless.................
PS: NASA termed m&m (candy) as 'Candy Coated Chocolate' and not m&m for astronauts to eat earlier abiding by their No reference to commercial brand term.
It is now left into the hands of private companies lik SpaceX, Blueorigin,Virgin Galactic to name a few..to allow advertising to pave way it’s way to space flight.
